Elder, Pastor
After completing his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees, John served twenty years in the active and reserve Army as a chaplain. John, along with his wife Rose, provided leadership to a college and seminary, pastored churches in New England, Illinois, and Arizona, and was president of an international humanitarian and missions agency ministering in the former Soviet Union. He has served as pastor of Yankeetown Community Church since January 2025. John’s hobby is trying to remember the names of sixteen grandchildren (seven of whom are married) and their twenty-seven great-grandchildren, while Rose keeps track of birthdays and anniversaries. John spends his free time with Rose and their furry forever friend, Rusty. John and Rose reside in Dunnellon, Florida.
Elder/Church Chairman
Jeff is recently retired from his position as professor at the University of Florida, where he worked on mosquito control at the Emerging Pathogens Institute. He still works part-time as a consultant on various University and industrial projects. Jeff enjoys gardening and is an avid angler in both fresh and salt water. He and his wife Judy have two grown sons who live and work in Minneapolis. Jeff currently serves both as elder and Church Chairman. He and Judy reside in Yankeetown.
Elder/Bible Teacher
Will is a retired open heart surgical nurse. Privileged to have enjoyed biblical/theological undergraduate studies, Will has served in ministry and leadership roles for decades. He enjoys sports, music, and the great outdoors. He revels in a range of adventurous activities, from paragliding to hiking to driving ATV’s in the Rocky Mountains. Will lives in Dunnellon, Florida where he continues his ministry of caring for others.
